Who we are
THC Town (thc.town) is an education guide to legal cannabis venues around the world. This policy explains what data we collect and what you can ask us to do with it. Contact: hello@thc.town.
What we collect
Listings you submit: business name, address, contact details and anything you type into the form. Comments and reviews: name, email and your words. Contact messages: whatever you send us. Technical logs: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, kept by our host for security. Cookie choice: your accept or decline, stored in your own browser.
Why we use it
To publish and manage listings, to show the site, to fight spam and abuse, and to answer you. We do not sell your personal data. We do not run ads that track you across the web.
Who sees it
Our hosting provider stores the site files and backups. WordPress plugins that run the site (directory, forms, security) process data on our server. Anything you publish in a listing, comment or review is public by design.
How long we keep it
Listings stay up until removed or claimed and deleted. Comments stay with their page. Logs rotate with our host, usually under a year. Ask us to delete sooner and we will unless the law says to keep it.
Your rights (EU, UK, California and beyond)
If you live in the EU or UK, GDPR gives you the right to see, fix, move, limit or delete your data, and to object to some uses. If you live in California, CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell). Write to hello@thc.town and we reply within 30 days. EU visitors may also complain to their national data authority.
Kids and age
This site is for adults only, 21 or older, or the legal age where you live. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Tell us if a child sent us data and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. Big changes get a notice on the site.
