Our promise

THC Town wants every adult to use this guide with any device, any browser, and any assistive tech. Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA across the site. Accessibility is never finished, so we keep testing and fixing.

What is in place

Atkinson Hyperlegible type for low vision readers. Text contrast that meets AA. Full keyboard use with visible focus. Skip to content link. Labels on search and forms. Real headings in order. Alt text on town, category and listing photos. No content that depends on color alone. Pages that zoom to 400 percent without breaking sideways.

Known limits

Some directory templates come from third party plugins and we override their wording and style where we can. Embedded maps need a mouse or touch and a sighted helper for full use; every mapped venue also lists its street address as text. Old imported photos may miss perfect descriptions; tell us and we fix them fast.

Need help or found a barrier

Email hello@thc.town with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 working days and fix content blocks within 15. If you need a guide in another format, ask and we will try.
